So today is the humourous praise poem!
**
Never ending or retreating
you appear each day in diverse array
Multicoloured patches
of the way a family
works and plays
You could be a rainbow leading to
treasures of faraway lands
silks and spices
market bazzar
You could be the way to find a
job, and keep a job
If only you were cleaned and pressed
and not a cause to be depressed
And now you are picked up and tackled
placed with soap and machine
to turn and whirl
Back into clear multicolours
as long as you are neatly sorted
so the colours don’t run
and if needed a special concoction
leaves your fabrics oh so softened
Goodbye darling heap of never ending
washing
Now you are
dancing to the the wind
targetting the line
neatly lined and clipped with
rainbow plastic.
